Durango, Colorado is a historic mountain town in Southwest Colorado established in 1881 with its beginnings in the mining of silver and gold. It’s known today for its incredible quality of life and endless outdoor recreational opportunities. Located at 6,512 feet above sea level and with a population of approximately 20,000 residents, Durango is a destination for those who thrive on mountain biking, cycling, fly-fishing, skiing, kayaking, white water rafting, hunting and golfing. What’s more, Colorado has been called the “Napa Valley of Micro Breweries” with several breweries housed right here in our quaint, little town.
